If so, applications are now open for the Give Me Your Word Translation & Interpreting Project Management Internship, commencing on 1 April 2027 and running for approximately 6 months. The internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience within a busy language services company, developing skills in translation, interpreting project management and commercial project delivery whilst working alongside experienced professionals.
Gain Real Industry Experience

Throughout the internship, you will gain hands-on experience in:
Translation project management
Interpreting project management
Client and supplier communications
Quality assurance processes
Translation technology
Business administration and project coordination
You will learn how projects are managed from the initial client enquiry through to successful delivery, developing a practical understanding of how a professional language services company operates.
What Will You Be Doing?
No two days are exactly the same, but typical responsibilities may include:
Monitoring inboxes
Assessing source files and assisting with quotations
Liaising with clients, translators and interpreters
Onboarding linguists
Assigning and managing projects
Assisting with interpreter bookings
Preparing purchase orders and invoices
Quality checking completed translations
Supporting project managers with a variety of administrative and operational tasks
Completing translation projects and gaining practical experience working on real commercial assignments alongside experienced project managers and linguists.
This is an opportunity to gain practical experience working on genuine commercial projects whilst developing the organisational, communication and project management skills that employers value.

Who Can Apply?
We will only consider applications from candidates who meet all of the following criteria:
✔ You are studying for an MA in Translation (or foreign equivalent) and are required to complete an internship as part of your studies. For applicants from France, this opportunity is open to M2 students only.
✔ You are a French speaker.
✔ You have the right to work for a UK-based company.
✔ You are willing to work 100% remotely, for 35 hours per week, for a minimum of five months.
✔ You have full availability during the last week of July and throughout August 2027.
